Hi there!
I’m a scientist-turned-product designer
based in New York City. I used to spend most of my days in the research lab running experiments, but now I craft pixels together for web & mobile products with the goal of improving user experience.
During my science career, I had the honor of working alongside NASA scientists to investigate the effects of space environment on human health. Later on, I segued into the biotechnology space where I conducted experiments to find an effective treatment for various types of cancer.
I loved my time at NASA as a scientific researcher so much that I returned as a UI/UX Designer! There, I had the exciting opportunity to work on data and 3D visualization software for the upcoming lunar rover mission, VIPER.
A year later, I transitioned into the healthtech industry, where I contributed to a clinical trial research operations platform by streamlining workflows for healthcare providers, making a tangible impact on accelerating the process of bringing drug therapies to market.
I'm currently leading design for a sustainability reporting platform that empowers organizations to accurately report their ESG data in preparation for audits.
Beyond my day-to-day design work, I was recently honored as a JVF scholarship recipient for a Front End Web Development Course at General Assembly. Through this opportunity, I hope to expand on my current skill set in bridging the gap between design and engineering.
